Want to make a difference? Vote out your RINOs.

The only sizeable group of people that stands against the liberal Democrat march towards socialism and communism (yes, people, they go hand in hand, stop deluding yourselves) is the Republican party. The theme of this party is conservatism, essentially, that government size, and therefore its waste, should be minimalized.

However, more and more, this is not the case. The prevalence of RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) has served to weaken, if not utterly destroy, the premise of the party. Once elected as President, Ronald Reagan had to drag his party to the right. His struggle in doing so is paralleled to the stretching of a rubber band. Now, without a steady hand to maintain the stress on the rubber band (the Republican party, for those who are incapable of following analogies), it has begun to snap back to the left.

The following will consist of individual analyses of well-known RINOs. I implore those of you reading this article to do what you can to prevent their re-election. Why? Because your safety depends on it.

RINOs traditionally support the following liberal stances:

1. Pro-abortion - RINOs refuse to acknowledge abortion as anything less than a fundamental right. In other words, like liberals, they trivialize the importance of human life. The only acceptable reasoning for an abortion is to save the life of the mother. Period. There are thousands of couples in America incapable of having children that would love to have the convenience of being able to kill a baby. If you can't support a child, give it up for adoption. Or stop getting pregnant.

2. NRA Rating below A- - An A- or A rating from the NRA means that the candidate is a strong advocate of Second Amendment rights; an A+ rating means that the candidate proposes and sponsors pro-Second Amendment legislation. A good sign of a RINO is a B or lower rating. (Hint for the slow: Most communist/fascist/liberal representatives have Cs or Fs.)

3. Can utter the words "Campaign Finance Reform" without breaking into violent fits of laughter

4. American Conservative Union Rating lower than 80

And now, for the really fun part, to expose individual RINOs for what they are!

Olympia Snowe (RINO-ME)
American Conservative Union Lifetime Rating (0-100 scale): 51

Why is Snowe a RINO?

1. Voted on 3-12-2003 (S.3) that the original Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion, was correct. This was essentially a fluff resolution, creating no real law, but defined Snowe's position as pro-abortion. With the help of RINOs, this resolution passed 52-46.
2. Voted on 3-20-2003 (S. Con. Res. 23) against accelerating the repeal of the "Death Tax" from 2010 to 2009. Despite RINO efforts, the resolution passed 51-48.
3. Voted on 5-15-2003 (S. 1054) in favor of a trade-off between general tax cuts and the phasing out of the marriage penalty. The marriage penalty is an asinine tax that deserves nothing short of eradication. The resolution, despite RINO votes, failed by a 49-51 margin. (Wow, Kerry showed up for this vote!)
4. Voted to increase mileage standards for automobiles (S. 14, 7-29-2003). This essentially means that car prices would skyrocket, and as a result, cars would be made smaller and less safe. Thankfully, this one got crushed 32-65.
5. Voted to increase FCC control over media outlets (HR 2989, 10-23-2003), essentially increasing the government's ability to censor. Yay, more big government to substitute good parenting! With the help of RINOs, this bill passed 55-40.
6. Supported forcing the US to comply with the Kyoto Treaty on "global warming" (S. 139, 10-30-2003) to which it was never party. That is, the Senate never ratified this treaty, but liberals and RINOs wanted to sneak that by us with legislation. They failed 43-55.

Arlen Specter (RINO-PA)
American Conservative Union Lifetime Rating (1-100): 43

Why is Specter a RINO?

1. Supported Roe v. Wade in 3-12-2003 (S.3).
2. Not only supports Roe v. Wade, but supports taxpayer supported abortion! (S. 925, 7-9-2003) Essentially, he voted to overturn Reagan's 'Mexico City' policy refusing funding to international organizations that promote or perform abortion.
3. Voted against increasing the flexibility of overtime pay rules (HR 2660, 9-10-2003).
4. Favors the increased Medicare entitlement, a "reform" which was in fact the greatest expansion of a government program in almost 40 years. (HR 1, 11-25-2003)

John McCain (RINO-AZ)
American Conservative Union Lifetime Rating (1-100): 82

Why is McCain a RINO?

Don't let the ACU rating fool you.

This guy, along with Democrat Russ Feingold, is responsible for the sham of campaign finance reform that now exists.

That fact alone merits firing by the citizens of Arizona for his liberal deeds.

You can thank McCain for the existance and success of '527 groups' such as MoveOn.org (527 being the name of an exception that essentially allows special interest groups to circumvent CFR).

The pattern pretty much goes on. It's self-explainatory. Vote these people out in favor of true conservatives whenever you get the opportunity; your safety and security depends on it.
