Pat Tillman for SI Sportsman of the Year

This is a no-brainer -- Pat Tillman was a true American patriot, forsaking millions of dollars in an NFL contract to defend our country abroad. The story of Pat Tillman is that of a true American hero and patriot, and he deserves this distinction.

And besides, there's no reason why Michael "DUI" Phelps deserves an award for anything.

Cast your vote here. He's near the bottom of the list, wearing a red jersey with no helmet.

And the Moore-on Rants on...and on...

I guess Michael Moore didn't make quite enough money off of his first lie-filled documentary against the Iraq war, because he's at it again.

Yeah, a sequel. Terrific.

On the bright side, Michael Moore's propaganda film gave rise to an entirely new genre of film: the conservative documentary. Films such as Celsius 41.11, Fahrenhype 9/11, and Michael Moore Hates America provided virtually instant rebuttal to the multitude of lies claimed as fact by Moore and the militant leftists who follow him.

No man can be as apparently self-loathing as Michael Moore without some sort of external motivation. In the case of F9/11 and its apparent sequel, the driving factors for Moore are quite clear: greed and notoriety. By featuring footage of American soldiers in Iraq as well as parents of dead soldiers, Michael Moore has effectively become that which he professes to hate: a war profiteer.

It remains my opinion that if Michael Moore was truly that which he claims to be, he'd accept only enough money for his lies in order to cover the costs of production. Until he does, I will continue to see him as little more than a big thug. A really, really big thug.

Arlen Specter has lost his friggin' mind.

And the folks over at NotSpecter.com are here to call him on it.

I implore everyone out there who reads this to contact your Republican Senators and ask them to do everything within their power to keep Specter from assuming the chair of the Judiciary committee. If you live in Pennsylvania, get in touch with Rick Santorum.

If you have no Republican Senator, get in touch with the majority leader, Sen. Frist of Tennessee.

The Audacity of the Left

The post-election mantra of the Dem pundits, as well as of Kerry's own campaign staff, is that President Bush should "reach out" to the Democrats in order to reunite this country.

Let's not forget the following matters:

Kerry and Edwards ran on the "There are two Americas" platform.
Kerry and Edwards used class and race warfare to rally their base.
Kerry and Edwards claimed that Republicans were out to suppress the vote.

We, as Republicans, have presented our case to the American people. You Democrats did, as well.

We won. Resoundingly. We made our case, and the American people chose us over you.

We retained the Presidency, and enlarged our majorities in both houses of Congress.

We kicked your obstructionist, divisive, inane minority leader, Tom Daschle, out of office. It was the first time in 58 years, since the ouster of Republican Barry Goldwater, that a party leader has lost his seat in Congress.

We won the popular vote by 3.5 million votes, as well as by a simple majority nationwide. Additionally, President Bush received more votes than any American candidate in history.

We also won the requisite amount of Electoral College votes...and then some.

The liberal Democrats are in absolutely no position to demand a single thing from us.

- The Democrats played fast and loose with the facts. They used the mainstream media, CBS and the New York Times in particular, to break "news" that was instantly proven to be nothing more than lies by independent "bloggers" on the internet.
- The Democrats did everything in their power to create discord and paranoia in the electorate. By claiming that the Republicans intended to restore the draft, which was already well-documented untruth, the Democrats sought to drive voters to their side with fear-inducing propaganda.
- The Democrats indulged in illegal campaign tactics.
- The Democrats engaged in voter intimidation and mob violence by threatening the American people. Even Alan Keyes, Republican U.S. Senate candidate from Illinois, was harassed and intimidated at the polls by a Democrat thug.
- The Democrats are the whores of special interest groups and egomaniacal billionaires. Thanks to "campaign finance reform" left-wing billionaires such as George Soros and Stephen Bing were able to pour millions upon millions of dollars into 527 groups to run their slanderous anti-Bush and anti-military advertisements. The three largest contributers to Republican 527s do not even add up in their contributions to the top contributer to Democrat 527 groups.
- The Democrats threatened to steal this election with an army of lawyers if they couldn't win the election the old-fashioned way. Y'know, with the votes of the people.

Before you Democrats tell us to clean out our stables, you should take a long, careful look at your own house.

The American people have put the Republican party, the party of maturity, self-accountability, and adulthood, in charge of this country, and have done so decisively. Out of the 50 states in this great nation, 45 states increased their support of the Republican party. Three states remained stagnant, and only two states moved to the left. However, the ball is in the court of the Democrats. You Democrats have a simple choice. You can either choose to continue your obstructionism, wallowing in your own denial and believing that you're entitled to rule this country, or you can choose to bring your party back into the real world. America is tired of your elitist, snobbish attitudes. You are not entitled to the trust of the American people; you must earn it as the GOP has.

Best of luck in 2008. I hope, for the sake of your sanity, that you liberals heed my advice.

Here we go...

MegaPundit has created a nice chart to show the projected victors of each state, as well as calculate the electoral votes.

Keep your fingers crossed, and pray for this nation to make the right decision.

Terrorists for Kerry!

Apparently, Jay Dyson over at Sacred Cow Burgers noticed the same things I did about the latest tape from Usama bin Laden, namely that his talking points are identical to those of John Kerry and the Democratic party in this election cycle.

Both bin Laden and Kerry want a weaker American military (it's proven that conscription, which Kerry would use to get the 40,000 additional troops he wants, decreases troop morale), American capitulation to the interests of countries such as France, and for us to withdraw from Iraq so that he can fill the power vacuum.

It's absolutely terrifying.
