The 'Undecided' Voter

I've come to a conclusion lately -- the 'undecided' voter is simply a very lonely, lonely person.

Allow me to explain.

Political pundits these days are focused almost exclusively on the importance of the 'undecided' voter. You know, the one who really doesn't know who he or she is going to vote for. Well, I submit to you that this is not the case.

We're in the middle of a war, we've gone through a recession, and children are dying in Russia and Iraq thanks to Islamokazi terrorists. Anyone who's 'undecided' on the issues is one of two things:

1) Extremely slow on the uptake, or
2) Desperate for attention from pollsters.

Yes, we do know one thing: If Zogby, Gallup, or some other polling group calls you, and you say you're undecided, guess what? They're going to call you back, guaranteed. In an election of this magnitude, with the fate of freedom hanging in the balance worldwide, there's no such thing as someone who honestly has no idea who they think will lead this country better. There's only people who crave the attention directed at them by pollsters and the media for being 'undecided' voters.

Come on, why do you think Bill O'Reilly claims to be an undecided voter? He knows exactly who he's voting for (now, who that may be, I do not care to speculate). The answer is clear: the undecided voter just wants his or her 15 minutes of fame.

Let's stop giving it to them. If you honestly have no idea where you stand on the issues, and who you feel represents you the best, perhaps you should simply move to Palm Beach County and not vote.
