So now, Zarqawi's 'Tawhid and Jihad' is beheading women. According to an unconfirmed report, the two Simonas from Italy have been beheaded.
Can we kill 'em all, yet?

It turns out that the report of the death of the Simonas was, in the words of Mark Twain, greatly exaggerated. They've been freed, and are back home. Word on the street is that a ransom was paid for their freedom, but the Italian government has refused comment.

Masters of the Obvious
Congratulations are in order for CBS. After all, they've finally figured out that which everyone else in the civilized world knew -- that their precious Texas Air National Guard 'memos' are little more than crude forgeries.
Now, it's just a matter of getting a direct admission, and perhaps even an apology, from Dan Rather. A written press release from CBS admitting to this schadenfreude is one thing (and it would undoubtedly go unnoticed by the casual news watcher), but a verbal apology from Gunga Dan would be quite another.
Of course, I don't see this happening unless Rather's career is immediately jeapordized. After all, if he's going to remain at the top of the CBS ivory tower, why should he apologize? Rather considers himself a journalist beyond reproach, and it's only through action that this might become a remote possibility.
Hit 'em hard, and contact your local CBS affiliates. Don't let Rathergate go unpunished!

The Old Guard Strikes Back
The Old Media's resentment towards bloggers has never been more transparent. And now, they've gotten personal.
The Los Angeles Times, only slightly behind the New York Times in liberal rag-dom, has taken it upon themselves to "out" the identity of FReeper Buckhead, who is widely credited with bringing some of the first nationwide scrutiny on the forgeries used by Dan Rather and CBS disguised cleverly as news.
The LA Times, in their oh-so-cleverly titled article Blogger Who Faulted CBS Documents Is Conservative Activist, do left-wing thugs the convenience of posting not only Buckhead's name and picture, but his bio at his law firm containing his work address.
Fortunately, Buckhead lives in a red state. My red state of Georgia. Unfortunately, Atlanta is the largest bastion of degenerate liberalism in the state, fielding such gems such as Congresscritters John Lewis, Denise Majette, and "Jihad Cynthia" McKinney.
Obviously, I hope for Buckhead's safety, as he will undoubtedly be inundated with hateful phonecalls from the disgruntled ultra-liberals of Democratic Underground and other such left-wing fringe groups.
Fortunately for Buckhead, however, the psychos over at DU apparently either think he's really Karl Rove in disguise, or is receiving marching orders directly from Rove. There aren't quite any threads over there calling for phone-flooding or house-marching yet.
Naturally, if a security risk to Buckhead or his family arises, I will post it here.

If IUPAT has any decency, they will turn in the scumbag on the left of the picture. Assault and battery, destruction of a campaign sign, and child abuse sounds like a good start.

Rather Pathetic
So, Gunga Dan strikes again.
On 60 Minutes II, Dan Rather went on the air and finally admitted that there are some 'legitimate questions' about the memos forgeries in regards to President (then First Lieutenant) Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard.
To paraphrase, Rather essentially stated that while challengers to the story have indeed disputed the legitimacy of the memos (typed on Microsoft's brand new Word 1973), nobody has dared challenge the substance of the memos, namely that Bush was a child of privilege who got into the Guard unfairly, and did not meet his service requirements.
Wow, Dan. You mean nobody bothered to challenge the content of obviously forged documents? I can't imagine why! Oh, wait, that's because the content of a forged document is irrelevant! Why in the world would I even remotely trust the content of six memos that I could forge myself in about 10 minutes? Yeesh!
So, to make a long story short, Gunga Dan and SeeBS are now admitting that the memos are "possibly" forgeries, yet they remain resolute in their claims that the content of the forged memos cannot be challenged.
Amazing.
Naturally, the story doesn't stop here. On every pundit's show, the major networks have trotted out their own brownshirts to slam bloggers, bulletin boards, and other New Media as amateurs unconcerned with the reliability of their own sources.
Naturally, the irony here is downright staggering. If we are amateurs, two questions must be posed:
1) How did CBS, the 'professionals', allow obvious forgeries to be run as news?
2) How did we worthless pajama-wearing amateurs debunk the 'news' story within two hours of its release?
If you have the answer to either of those questions, Mr. Rather, I'd love to hear it. Until then, consider yourself and the rest of the Old Media irrelevant.

Last Night's "O'Reilly Factor"
I fear that Mr. Bill O'Reilly has drunk too deeply from the Kool-Aid.
Bill O did a segment last night on how the right-wing talk show hosts have gone too far in perpetrating hatred of part-time Democrat Senator and Presidential wanna-be John Kerry.
The line that struck me the most from last night:
"I see no difference between Bush-haters and Kerry-haters."
Wow, Bill. If you don't see the difference, allow me to explain, using the words of your own network.
According to Fox News as well as other polls, more likely Kerry voters are voting against Bush than they are for Kerry. In fact, over 60% of likely Kerry voters are really just voting against President Bush! On the other hand, over 80% of Bush's supporters are voting for President Bush, whereas less than 20% are voting against Kerry. I'd presume that < 20% to include the groups 'Democrats for Bush' and Democrat members of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.
On the other hand, you've got groups such as MoveOn.org, A.N.S.W.E.R. (the well-known front for the CPUSA), and other Soros-funded lunatic fringe groups on the left spewing their hatred of President Bush on a day-to-day basis. They not only despise our President, but think that their own candidate is not liberal enough! And this is IN SPITE OF him having the most liberal voting record in the Senate!
C'mon, O'Reilly, you can do better than that.
